Guided Tour of Kochi
The guided tour begins at the port of Kochi, where we board a minibus to the oldest part of the city, Fort Kochi.
In Fort Kochi, we will see the traditional 'Chinese fishing nets'. You will learn about their historical significance and the techniques dating back to the 14th century when they were introduced from China.
Next, we will visit St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India, where the remains of Vasco da Gama were kept until 1539. Nearby is the Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, known for its stained glass windows and paintings.
We will then proceed to the neighborhood of Dhobi Khana to visit significant historical sites, including the Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) and the Paradesi Synagogue, an important Jewish shrine in India.
The tour concludes as we return to the port in Kochi.

The Paradesi Synagogue is closed from midday on Fridays, and on Saturdays and Jewish festivities.The Mattancherry Palace is closed on Fridays and local holidays.
