Kochi Markets Exploration
Your adventure begins at the designated hour at the Folklore Museum Collections, from where we will proceed to the spice market. Here, you will be enveloped by the enticing fragrances of star anise, ginger, cinnamon, and an array of other spices, each contributing to the vibrant cuisine of Kochi.
Next, we will venture into the crafts market, a lively hub showcasing local textiles and sculptures crafted from metal, wood, coconut shell, banana fiber, and papier-mâché. This is the perfect place to find unique souvenirs that reflect the city's artistic spirit.
Following our exploration of the market, we will visit the Kerala Folklore Museum. This establishment features a diverse collection of handicrafts, folk art, antiques, and examples of traditional architecture, offering a window into the city's historical narrative through its art.
Our journey will then lead us to Jew Street, situated in Jew Town, where you will encounter even more extraordinary pieces that tell the story of commerce and culture in this area.
Concluding our tour, we will relax in some of the notable cafés nearby the markets after an immersive 2-hour experience.
