Colonial Architecture Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in downtown Oaxaca and set off toward our first stop, the Ex-Convent of San Juan Bautista Coixtlahuaca.
Upon arrival, you'll see the intricate snake-shaped details adorning the temple's façade and interior. Next, we'll visit the Ex-Convent of San Pedro and San Pablo Teposcolula, a notable religious complex in one of Oaxaca's magical towns, including its open chapel, the largest in Latin America.
We'll proceed to the town of San Pedro Yucunama, walking along cobblestone streets to appreciate the architecture and learn about the customs and traditions that villagers still practice.
Finally, we'll visit a local family of artisans from the Mixtec region, who will demonstrate palm handicrafts, providing insight into their skills and artistry.
We will return to Oaxaca, dropping you off at your hotel after a total of about 9 hours.
