Colonial Architecture Tour
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up at your hotel in downtown Oaxaca and set off toward our first stop, the Ex-Convent of San Juan Bautista Coixtlahuaca.
Upon arrival, you will see the intricate snake-shaped details that adorn the façade and interior of the temple. Next, we will visit the Ex-Convent of San Pedro and San Pablo Teposcolula, one of Oaxaca's impressive religious complexes, and the largest open chapel in Latin America, located in the magical town of Teposcolula.
We will then head to the town of San Pedro Yucunama, where we will walk along cobblestone streets and admire its architecture, while learning about the customs and traditions still practiced by the villagers.
Finally, we will visit a local family of artisans from the Mixtec region who will demonstrate palm handicrafts. This is an opportunity to witness the skills and artistry of these artisans.
We will return to Oaxaca and drop you off at your hotel after a total of about 9 hours.
