Immerse yourself in Mexican gastronomy with this Mexican cooking class, which will teach you the secrets of Oaxaca's most delicious dishes, hand in hand with a specialised chef. And, of course, you'll be able to try your own creations!

Mexican Cooking Class

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Oaxaca and make our way to one of the main markets in the city. Along with your expert chef, you'll prepare dinner made of the region's most typical dishes.

This interactive class begins by heading to the markets to identify and purchase the ingredients on your shopping list. You will prepare two of the region's famous dishes, such as mole, Oaxaca soup, tortillas, or tamales.

The chef will explain Mexican culinary tradition and the kinds of ingredients found in the markets. You will also prepare typical drinks like margaritas or chilacayote (a drink made with squash, cinnamon, and cloves).

The cooking class continues, learning techniques from the chefs who will guide you step by step through the preparation of each dish.

Once the dishes are ready, you will sit down to taste your creations, confirming your skills in Mexican cuisine. The tour ends back at your hotel.
