Day Trip Details

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Mount Alban, located 10 km from the city of Oaxaca. Upon arrival, you will explore the ancient site with an expert guide. You will visit pyramids, temples, altars, and various residential structures around the central square. The ceremonial center of Mount Alban was a significant religious site in Mesoamerica and the capital of the Zapotec civilization. The tour will enhance your understanding of the culture and history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The excursion concludes back at your hotel after a 3-hour tour.
