Day Trip Details

Your tour begins with a hotel pickup, followed by a journey to Mount Alban, located 10 km from Oaxaca city. This site is paramount in Zapotec culture.

Upon arrival, an expert guide will lead you through the ancient site, sharing legends and history. You'll visit pyramids, temples, altars, and various residential structures around the Gran Plaza.

Mount Alban served as a ceremonial center and the Zapotec capital, making it one of the key religious sites in Mesoamerica. You'll gain insights into the culture and history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The tour lasts 3 hours and concludes with a return to your hotel in Oaxaca.
