Oaxaca Valley 2-Day Tour

Day 1

We'll pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am and set off for Tlacolula de Matamoros, where we will learn about the Zapotec culture established in the 2nd century BC and visit the colonial-style Church of our Lord of Tlacolula. You may enjoy a local sorbet or charcoal-grilled meat dish at the market.

Next, we will visit Santiago Matatlán, known for its mezcal. Here, we'll tour a mezcal palenque and have 1 hour of free time for lunch at 1 pm.

After lunch, we will travel to Benito Juárez, where you can settle into the cosy cabins equipped with a fireplace, and explore the village using available bikes.

Day 2

At 9 am, we'll embark on a 3 mile (5 kilometre) hike through the forest, observing various tree species. We will visit a 33-foot (10-meter) waterfall before heading to a suspension bridge surrounded by mist for panoramic views.

Afterward, we will return to Benito Juárez for 1 hour of free time for lunch before heading back to Oaxaca, with drop-off at your hotel by 5 pm.
