Explore the little town of San Agustin de Etla, and discover the art and gastronomy of Oaxaca's outskirts. We'll visit the Arts Centre, a cheese workshop and a paper factory.

San Agustín de Etla Day Trip

The tour begins with a hotel pick up, followed by a trip of 10 miles (17 km) from Oaxaca to the Etla Valley, where we will visit the village of San Agustin de Etla. We will see an old hydroelectric plant, currently operating as a cooperative that produces paper from natural fibres, including tree bark, branches, and flowers.

Next, we will visit the San Augustin Arts Centre, known as CaSa, located in a former textile factory, featuring various modern art exhibitions.
