San Agustín de Etla Day Trip
Your tour begins with a hotel pick-up, followed by a trip 10 miles (17 km) to the Etla Valley and the village of San Agustin de Etla. The first stop will be an old hydroelectric plant, now a cooperative making paper from natural fibers like tree bark, branches, and flowers.
The tour also includes a visit to the San Augustin Arts Centre, known as CaSa, which is housed in a former textile factory and features a variety of modern art exhibitions.
Lastly, you'll visit a family-owned cheese workshop, known for its various types of traditional Oaxaca cheese. The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in central Oaxaca, arriving at 2:30 pm.
