Santiago Apoala Tour

We'll pick you up at 9 am at your hotel in Oaxaca and take you to the Mixtec region, characterised by its great natural diversity.

First we'll visit a local market. There you can have breakfast on your own and then we'll head for the village of Santiago Apoala, considered to be a Mixtec paradise.

Upon arrival, we'll take a walk to explore the natural surroundings of Santiago Apoala. The famous twin crags will be the first natural site we encounter during our walk. After enjoying these landscapes, we'll continue hiking to the Tutatnoho riverbed, where you can take a refreshing dip.

Next, we'll proceed to the emblematic Santiago Apoala waterfall, a spectacular 30-metre high (98 feet) waterfall perfect for photography enthusiasts.

From the waterfall, we'll drive to the centre of Santiago Apoala, where you'll have an hour free for lunch. After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Oaxaca, where we'll arrive at 8 pm.
