Tule and Teotitlán del Valle are two notable towns in the state of Oaxaca. This tour includes a visit to a mezcal distillery.

At 10 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Oaxaca and drive to Santa María del Tule.

Our first stop is the park featuring the Tree of Tule, known for having the thickest trunk in the world and being over 2,000 years old. We will learn interesting facts about this remarkable tree, which weighs around 630 tonnes.

Next, we will visit Teotitlán del Valle, where we will observe the making of typical tapetes, bags, and sarapes, traditional Mexican attire. These textiles are dyed using ancestral pigmentation techniques, incorporating natural elements like chinchilla to avoid harmful artificial products.

Following this, we will proceed to a local distillery to discover the process of making mezcal, a popular alcoholic beverage from Oaxaca.

We will return to Oaxaca and drop you off at your hotel by 2:30 pm.
