Discover the beauty of Oaxaca as you visit the Temple of Santo Domingo, explore the zócalo, and experience the rich Mexican culture of this city.

Walking Tour of Oaxaca

We'll pick you up at your hotel to begin our city tour, exploring all of Oaxaca's nooks and crannies. Our first stop will be the Temple of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, a notable example of baroque architecture in Mexico. We will also visit the Museum of the Cultures of Oaxaca (ticket not included), located within the old Santo Domingo convent, showcasing a vast collection of archaeological objects from the Mixtec and Zapotec cultures.

Our walking tour continues through the cobbled streets of Oaxaca until we reach the zólaco, the main square of the city, home to museums, artisanal shops, and local restaurants.

Next, we will explore traditional markets like the Mercado Benito Juárez, where you can find various black clay items, or the famous "alebrijes", colorful figurines originating from this region of Mexico.

After a day of discovering Oaxaca, we will return to the hotels, arriving around 2 pm.
