Less than an hour away from Coimbra, the Venice of Portugal awaits you. Explore beautiful Aveiro on a traditional Moliceiro boat and discover one of the country's most spectacular beaches at Costa Nova.

Aveiro & Costa Nova Tour

After meeting on Emídio Navarro Av. in Coimbra, you'll set off in the direction of Aveiro. Upon arrival, you'll board a Moliceiro boat for a 45-minute cruise on the canals that divide Aveiro, known as "the Venice of Portugal." Following the cruise, you'll explore Aveiro's old town, admiring its Art Nouveau buildings and visiting the fishermen's quarter, where you can taste the traditional sweet, ovos moles.

You will then be taken to Praia da Barra, where you can enjoy the white sand beach and take photos of the Aveiro Lighthouse, the second-tallest lighthouse on the Iberian Peninsula. Next, you'll visit Costa Nova, recognized for its iconic striped houses that attract many tourists today.

After your visit to these charming coastal towns, you'll return to the meeting point in Coimbra.
