Travel through the past of the Iberian Peninsula in the Roman ruins of Conímbriga and enjoy the natural monument Buracas do Casmilo.
Conimbriga Roman Ruins Trip
We'll meet at the designated time at Avenida Emídio Navarro in Coimbra. From there, we will head towards Serra do Sicó, specifically to Buracas do Casmilo.
These natural monuments provide views of the valleys and mountains of the region. We will then approach the village of Rabaçal to taste local cheese with a cup of coffee.
Following this, we will visit the Conímbriga Monographic Museum, which displays a significant collection of mosaics, sculptures, coins, and domestic and agricultural utensils.
Afterwards, we will explore the Roman ruins of Conímbriga, where we will ascend the steps of the ancient amphitheater, see the thermal baths, and visit structures that date back over 2,000 years.
Next, we will proceed to the Buracas do Casmilo in the Sicó mountain range, known as the "mouths of the mountains," offering views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.
The trip concludes back at your hotel in Coimbra.
