Want to explore two of the most sacred places in Portugal? On this tour, we'll visit Fatima, famous for its sanctuary, and Nazare, a beautiful fishing village and a favored destination for surfers.

Fatima & Nazare Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Fatima. Once we arrive, we'll walk through its streets to our first stop, the Shrine of Fatima, one of the most important Christian temples in the world, welcoming millions of pilgrims each year.

At the Chapel of Apparitions, we'll discuss the Virgin Mary's apparitions to the shepherds in 1917. We'll also visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Church of the Holy Trinity, which features a modern style.

Next, we will board the minibus to the fishing village of Nazare, where you will have free time to enjoy fresh seafood.

We'll take a walk to the Chapel of Memory, located on the edge of the promontory in Nazare, offering spectacular views. We'll also visit the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Nazare, a site of numerous pilgrimages throughout history.

From Farol da Nazare, we can see Praia do Norte, famous among surfers and recognized as the location where Garrett McNamara surfed the highest wave in history in 2011. We'll explore its history.

After 8 hours, we'll return to your hotel in Coimbra.
