Mondego River Kayak Tour

Participants will meet at the designated time on the old road between Coimbra and Penacova, on the banks of the Mondego River. From there, the tour will commence in Penacova.

Upon arrival, instructions will be provided, and kayaks will be distributed. The tour will begin as participants paddle through the beautiful Mondego Valley, passing villages such as Ronqueira and Louredo.

Participants will also encounter river beaches and currents. There will be an opportunity to exit the kayaks for a swim. After swimming, a stop will be made at a restaurant for food and drinks.

Following this, kayakers will return to Penacova and be transported back to Coimbra. The estimated arrival at the starting point is between 5.5 and 6 hours after pickup.
