We'll gather at the designated spot along the historic route connecting Coimbra and Penacova, right on the banks of the Mondego River. From this point, we will proceed to Penacova, where the kayak tour commences.

Upon arrival, participants will receive crucial instructions and be equipped with kayaks. We will then embark on the water, beginning our adventurous tour. While paddling, you will have the chance to take in the mesmerizing scenery of the Mondego Valley and glide past charming locales like Ronqueira and Louredo.

The journey will also feature stunning river beaches and exciting currents to navigate. For those seeking refreshment, feel free to jump out of your kayak and indulge in a refreshing swim! Following this, we will make a stop at a nearby restaurant for a chance to enjoy a meal or drink.

Reenergized, we’ll re-enter our kayaks and paddle back to Penacova. The return to Coimbra is expected to take between 5.5 and 6 hours from the initial pickup.
