Prior Lucas Winery Tour

At the time you book, we'll meet at the entrance of the Prior Lucas Winery and set off on a guided tour to discover the secrets of Coimbra's wine.

We'll explore the vineyards of the estate and learn about the properties of the soil that influence the grape. We will examine the different types of grape used to produce each wine such as Baga, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Merlot, and Syrah.

After touring the outside of the estate, we'll head inside to tour the different rooms and see how the wine is produced. We will observe the de-stemmer, the steel tank room, and the oak barrels involved in the winemaking process.

Lastly, we'll enjoy a tasting of three types of wine along with some local oil. After an hour-long tour, the activity will conclude.
