Prior Lucas Winery Tour

At the time you book, we’ll meet at the entrance of the Prior Lucas Winery and set off on a guided tour to discover the secrets of Coimbra's wine.

We’ll explore the vineyards of the estate and find out about the properties that this soil gives to the grape. We’ll learn about the different types of grape used to produce each wine such as Baga, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Merlot, and Syrah.

After touring the outside of the estate, we’ll head inside to tour the different rooms and see how the wine is made. We’ll get to see the de-stemmer, the steel tank room, and the oak barrels used in the process of wine-making.

Lastly, we’ll enjoy a tasting of three types of wine as well as some local oil! After an hour-long tour, the activity will come to an end.
