Prior Lucas Winery Tour

At the time of booking, we will meet at the entrance of the Prior Lucas Winery for a guided tour to discover the secrets of Coimbra's wine.

We will explore the vineyards of the estate and learn about the properties that the soil imparts to the grape. We will learn about the different types of grape used to produce each wine including Baga, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Merlot, and Syrah.

After touring the outside, we will head inside to tour the different rooms and see how wine is made, including the de-stemmer, the steel tank room, and the oak barrels utilized in the wine-making process.

Finally, we will enjoy a tasting of three types of wine along with local oil! The hour-long unforgettable tour will conclude after this experience.
