Serra da Lousa & Xisto Villages Trip (4 Hours)

Pickup from your hotel in Coimbra leads to Serra de Lousã by bus. We start at the village of Cerdeira, known for its reconstruction with shale stones, clay, and brown wood. Next, we visit the village of Candal, exploring its streets and enjoying scenic views from a viewpoint. The tour includes a stop at Talasnal, a well-preserved village featuring slate houses and charming pathways. We return to the hotels in Coimbra after the exploration.

Slate Villages of Serra da Lousã (8 Hours)

This option explores the mountains of Sicó and Lousã, focusing on the slate-built villages, including Cerdeira, Candal, Talasnal, and Casal Novo. A visit to Trevim includes the famous Lousã Swing. The tour features lunch and a tasting of PDO-certified sheep and goat cheeses, olive oils, bread, and wine in Rabaçal. We return to the meeting point approximately eight hours after the tour starts.
