Description

At the designated time, we'll meet next to the Dom Dinis Statue to commence our tour of the University of Coimbra, one of Portugal's oldest educational institutions.

The tour begins at the Paço das Escolas, a royal palace that has hosted the university's faculties since 1537. The complex features the University Tower and reflects significant architectural details.

We will explore the Sala dos Capelos, the main hall for academic ceremonies, while sharing stories that have taken place within its corridors.

The tour includes visiting the magnificent Joanina Library, known for its baroque architecture and recognized as one of the world's most beautiful.
