On this canoe tour of the Sundays River, we'll paddle along the Alexandria Dunes and spot various bird species.

Sundays River Canoe Tour

At the appointed time, we'll meet at the Taste of Africa restaurant. From there, we'll head to the Colchester Jetty to begin a canoe tour on the Sundays River, known as one of South Africa's important rivers.

The route will take us to the mouth of the Sundays, approximately 2.2 miles (3.5 kilometers) away. Throughout the canoe tour, we will observe numerous birds, with around 210 different species in the area.

As we paddle down the river, we'll have views of the Alexandria Dunes and wild animals along the shore. The canoe tour concludes at the starting point after two to four hours, depending on the tide and wind.
