The Alsace region has a long tradition of chocolate making. Choco Story Colmar, located in Place de la Cathédrale, features a large exhibition dedicated to cocoa.

With your ticket, you'll visit the Museum of Chocolate in Colmar using an audio guide in English. You'll learn about the origins of cocoa and its history from the 15th century, when it was introduced to Europe by conquistadors.

Discover the connection of Mayan, Aztec, and Inca civilisations to cocoa. The exhibition includes interactive areas for experiencing different cocoa aromas and learning how chocolates and pralines are made.

The exhibition features unique pieces, including a sculpture of the Statue of Liberty made entirely from cocoa, honoring Auguste Bartholdi, the native sculptor of the original statue in New York.
