Colombo Guided Tour

This guided tour of Colombo will begin by meeting at 8 am in front of the Dutch Hospital, a former Dutch health center now home to various stores and restaurants.

From there, we'll head first to Galle Face Green Beach Park for a stroll along the only public beach in Colombo. Next, we'll cross the harbor area and walk along York Street, notable for its centuries-old buildings showcasing beautiful architecture from the British colonial era.

We'll continue through the Fort area, the central district of Colombo, until we reach the President's House. After viewing its luxurious all-white facade, the tour will proceed to St. Peter's Church and Jami Ul-Alfar, the famous red mosque of the capital.

Colombo also features many other places of worship, including the Sri Muthu Mariamman or Hindu Temple, known for its colorful facade, which is one of the most photographed spots in the city.

We'll then walk around Beira Lake and, finally, between 10:30 and 11 am we'll conclude the guided tour in the historic center of Colombo.
