Are you in Tortuguero and looking for an authentic experience in Costa Rica's jungle? We will meet in front of the football field in the area to begin this hiking trail by night. After a brief introduction about the trip, we'll hand out the torches and set off into the Tortuguero Jungle. The majority of animals in tropical jungles are more active at night.

In the darkness, the noises made by animals between the leaves and branches will become more evident. Stay alert for frogs, snakes, sloths, iguanas, armadillos, and spiders. If we're lucky, we might also spot a rodent or the popular peccaries or tatabros.

We'll conclude at the initial starting point after a 2 to 3-hour hike.
