On this canoeing tour around the Tortuguero National Park, we'll sail along the canals as we enter the tropical rainforest.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the main pier in Tortuguero to begin this canoeing tour around the Tortuguero National Park. Participants will put on lifejackets, board the canoes, and receive instructions from the guide before starting the tour.

The tour takes place in the most popular and best-conserved national park in Costa Rica. Participants will observe crocodiles along the banks during the first part of the journey, as the channels narrow.

Guided by the instructor, you'll have opportunities to spot sloths, small bats, tiny colourful frogs, monkeys, and various species of birds.

On the return trip, paddlers will navigate along the opposite riverbank, allowing for additional views of native animals and flora in the rainforest.

The tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours before returning to the initial meeting point.
