Capricho de Gaudí Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Capricho de Gaudí, also known as Villa Quijano, to begin our guided tour.
Before entering, we'll admire the decorative details of the facade, observing the combination of oriental, Gothic, Islamic, Nasrid, and Mudejar elements, including its notable 20-meter high tower.
We'll stroll through the gardens and enter the villa to discover its interior, featuring carved wooden furniture, colorful stained glass windows, railings with musical motifs, and ceramics.
Throughout the tour, we'll discuss the villa's history, which was declared an "Asset of Cultural Interest" (Bien de Interés Cultural) in 1969. It is one of the few buildings designed by Gaudí outside of Catalonia and faced potential ruin after the Spanish Civil War.
After 45 minutes of touring this unique villa, we'll conclude the visit outside the Capricho de Gaudí.
