Baradello Castle Private Visit

During the Baradello Castle private visit, you will explore the history of a key monument in Lombardy. The meeting point is in Piazza Camerleta, close to Baradello Castle, situated in Spina Verde Park. After gathering at the designated time, you will enter the castle to appreciate its architecture. The castle was commissioned by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, constructed on Byzantine remains from the 6th century, overseeing the city and lake.

The tour includes a visit to the square Romanesque tower, which stands nearly 92 feet (28 meters) tall, offering views of Como and beyond. From this tower, you can see Como reflected in the lake and enjoy panoramic views stretching from the Alps to the Po Valley and the Apennines. It is advisable to bring a camera.

If you select the tour with an aperitif, you will receive a selection of local snacks and a bottle of wine to share among three people while enjoying the views from the terrace of the Frederick rampart. The total duration of the tour is 2 hours, after which the group will return to the starting point.
