Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at Constanza’s central park to begin our day trip to the La Piedra Letrada petroglyphs.
These carvings are part of the Dominican and Caribbean rock art heritage and are among Constanza’s main tourist attractions, known as the Switzerland of the Caribbean for being the highest and coldest city in the Dominican Republic.
Accompanied by a local guide, we’ll explore this archaeological site, which once served as a sanctuary for the Taíno people. We’ll learn about their history and culture while admiring their legacy carved into the stone.
We’ll conclude the tour at the meeting point 4 hours after the start of the activity.
