Learn the traditional techniques of charcuterie and how the typical Brazilian cachaça is made on this tour of Brumadinho. Tasting included!

Tour Details

At the designated time we'll pick you up from your hotel in Belo Horizonte and make our way to Brumadinho. Upon arrival, we'll participate in two workshops about the typical charcuterie products of the area and learn about some traditional drinks. The first workshop is the cachaça workshop, where we'll enjoy a welcome drink and learn about the most popular drink in Brazil, trying 4 different types of cachaça, a surprise drink, and a drink that you can eat.

Next, we'll have a guided tour of a factory specializing in cold meats and sausages, focusing on the ancestral techniques used by Minas Gerais butchers. Finally, we'll enjoy a meal inclusive of a starter, a cold meats-based main course, and dessert. The tour concludes with our return to Belo Horizonte, dropping you off at your hotel approximately four hours after pickup.

Hotel Pickup

Hotel pickup and drop–off services are included for those staying in the centre or centre-south of Belo Horizonte. If your hotel is outside this area, we'll contact you to establish an alternative meeting point.
