Cachaça & Charcuterie Tour in Brumadinho

Tour Details

At the designated time we'll pick you up from your hotel in Belo Horizonte and make our way to Brumadinho. You'll have the opportunity to try Brazil's most famous drink and the delicacies of Minas Gerais.

Upon arrival at Brumadinho, we'll participate in two workshops about the typical charcuterie products of the area and explore some traditional drinks. Workshops will reveal secrets, curiosities, and preparation techniques.

The cachaça workshop begins with a welcome drink. You'll spend almost an hour learning about the most popular drink in Brazil and tasting 4 different types of cachaça, along with a surprise drink and an intriguing edible drink.

Next, we'll have a guided tour of a factory specializing in cold meats and sausages, learning about the ancestral techniques of Minas Gerais butchers.

Finally, the tour concludes with a meal that includes a starter, a cold meats–based main course, and dessert. Afterward, we'll return to Belo Horizonte and drop you off at your hotel, approximately four hours after pickup.

Hotel pickup and drop–off services are included for those staying in the centre or centre-south of Belo Horizonte. For hotels outside this area, alternative meeting points will be arranged.
