Sabará + Congonhas Tour
Pickup is at your hotel in Belo Horizonte at the designated time, after which we will head east to Sabará. The initial stop is a guided tour of the historic old town, featuring Dom Pedro II street, the church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos, the Municipal Theatre, and the churches of Nossa Senhora do Ó and Nossa Senhora do Carmo.
The tour continues at the Kaquende fountain, followed by a break for lunch at a restaurant for one hour.
Post-lunch, we travel to Congonhas to visit the local museum and the sanctuary of Bom Jesus de Matosinhos. The tour includes viewing the Passos da Paixão, featuring 66 processional steps by prominent artists like Aleijadinho, along with the Twelve Prophets sculptures crafted by him.
We will then return to Belo Horizonte, with hotel arrival anticipated 10 hours after pickup.
