Los Quetzales National Park 4 Day Trek

Day 1: San Gerardo de Dota - Providencia de Dota

At 8:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in San Gerardo de Dota and set off on the trekking route to Providencia de Dota. We will hike 12 kilometers of moderate difficulty through Los Quetzales National Park, crossing a suspension bridge over the Savegre River. After a six-hour hike, we will arrive at Rivera Lodge for lunch and have free time in the afternoon. We will conclude with dinner of rice, beans, meat, and salad.

Day 2: Providencia de Dota - Betania

We will wake up early for breakfast at 5:30 am and leave at 6:30 am towards Cerro Vueltas to begin a 14 kilometer hike. We will stop for a lunch wrapped in a banana leaf. After eight hours of trekking, we will arrive at Betania Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in tents.

Day 3: Betania - San Isidro de Dota

On day three, breakfast is at 5:30 am with trekking beginning at 7:30 am on a 7 km trail to San Isidro de Dota. We will arrive at El Rancho de Tinamú at 11:30 am for lunch and leisure time. The day ends with dinner and relaxation.

Day 4: San Isidro de Dota - Quepos

On the final day, we will have breakfast and start our journey to Quepos at 6:30 am, walking a total of 18 kilometers over 7 to 8 hours. Lunch will be by the Quebrada Arroyo at the Los Campesinos lodge, and we will arrive in Quepos or Manuel Antonio by 2 pm.

Accommodation

The tour includes three nights' accommodation in cabins with beds or in tents, depending on availability and location.

Tour End Point

The tour ends in Manuel Antonio or Quepos. You must indicate your preferred end point at the time of booking.
