Elqui Valley Pisco Tour

Learn all about the most famous Chilean spirit on this pisco tour through the Elqui Valley. We'll visit two pisqueras with tastings included.

Tour Details

After picking you up at your hotel in La Serena, we will head west to reach the Elqui Valley. Our first stop will be the Pisquera Aba, known for its artisanal production. During the tour of the fields, distillery, and warehouse, we will learn how pisco is categorized as a spirit and discover the origins of its name.

Next, we will visit the Pisco Capel Cooperative where we will take a guided tour of the facilities to learn about the pisco-making process. We will visit the Pisco Museum, including the Auditorio de la Asamblea (Assembly Auditorium) and the Salón de las Medallas (Hall of Medals). The tour concludes with a tasting of 6 piscos paired with regional products from the Elqui Valley and the special ritual of Chilean Pisco from Casa Capel.

After our tastings, we will enjoy a delicious 3-course lunch featuring seasonal products from Elqui. Following lunch, we will return to La Serena and conclude the day at your hotel, approximately 8 hours after pickup.
