Elqui Valley Stargazing

We will pick you up at your hotel in La Serena and drive to the valley of the Elqui River towards Vicuña. On the outskirts of this town, known as the birthplace of Gabriela Mistral, is the Natural Amatista Observatory. Upon arrival, we will participate in a short talk on astronomy.

The Elqui Valley is known for its clear skies. After the talk, we will engage in a stargazing activity using powerful electronic telescopes to observe the celestial vault.

During the session, we will view planets, galaxies, and constellations. You will also have a stargazing session on yoga mats with soft blankets. Using a laser pointer, we’ll explore constellations and listen to an epic story about the cosmic origins of our universe. Additionally, you will experience a sound therapy session with Tibetan bowls, quartz, and gongs.

After the tour, we will return to La Serena, arriving at your hotel approximately 6 hours after pickup.
