Elqui Valley Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in La Serena to begin this tour of the Elqui River Valley.

First, we'll make a brief stop at the Puclaro reservoir to admire its dam. We'll then drive to Vicuña, the birthplace of Gabriela Mistral, Nobel Prize winner for Literature in 1945.

We'll visit the house where the writer was born, and the church where she was baptized. After visiting Vicuña, you'll have time to explore the city at your own pace. Next, we'll visit a pisco distillery to learn about the production of this typical drink, followed by a tasting. We will proceed to a restaurant in Villaseca.

A Chilean menu will be included, consisting of a starter, main course, dessert, and a drink. After lunch, we'll tour through Montegrande and Pisco Elqui, two villages in the Elqui Valley. Finally, we'll return to your hotel in La Serena, arriving after 10 hours together.
