At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation in La Serena and embark on our adventure via the Costa de los Piratas, leading us towards the Valle del Encanto. Let's set forth on this exploration!

During our trip, you will have the choice to either make a detour to the Limari Archaeological Museum or proceed directly to the Valle del Encanto. If you opt for the museum, you will encounter a rich assortment of archaeological artifacts discovered in the valley, showcasing five distinct pre-Hispanic cultures—truly a remarkable display!

Continuing on, as we arrive at the gates of the Valle del Encanto, the adventure begins. This semi-arid region gained recognition as an archaeological site in the 1970s due to the vast relics dating back over 4,000 years. We will uncover the meanings behind the engravings on the stones, which carry a wealth of stories.

As you stroll through this historically significant area, you will notice small stones adorned with tiny perforations. What purposes did these rocks serve? How have they maintained their forms over millennia? This site is undoubtedly a striking testament to rock art in Chile. You will have the unique opportunity to observe some of the largest monuments of this nature in the country.

After our archaeological exploration, we will gather for a meal at a traditional Chilean restaurant. Conclusively, we will return to La Serena, completing this 7-hour journey back at your accommodation.
