Alcazar & Jewish Quarter Guided Tour Itinerary
At the scheduled time, you'll depart from the Puerta del Perdoón in central Cordoba to begin your walking tour around the picturesque streets of this World Heritage Site. You will start by visiting the Puerta de Almodóvar, part of the ancient Roman walls, with a statue of the Roman philosopher Seneca nearby, and a sculpture of Averroes at the wall's end. Continuing, you'll explore the Jewish Quarter, home to a statue of the renowned philosopher Maimonedes.
After the Jewish Quarter, you will proceed to the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos. Here, you will enjoy a guided tour of the Moorish gardens and see a sculpture commemorating the meeting of Christopher Columbus with Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand. The guided tour concludes after approximately 2.5 hours.
Partial Closures
Due to structural reforms inside the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, rooms under construction are not accessible. Instead, the tour will focus on the historic gardens and the Christopher Columbus monolith, along with a visit to the Baths of the Caliphate Alcázar.
