On this free tour of the three cultures of Cordoba, we'll discover the Christian, Muslim, and Jewish cultural heritage of the city.

Description

We'll meet at the entrance of the City Hall on Capitulares Street to start this tour through the 3 cultures of Cordoba.

In front of the City Hall, we'll see the church of San Pablo, built on the ancient Roman circus of Corduba. This city was the capital of the province of Baetica, housing large public spaces for leisure and religion. We'll learn more about this time at the remains of the Roman temple of Cordoba.

Then, we'll go to Santa Victoria square to explore the history of Christian Cordoba. Before this period, the city flourished during the time of al-Andalus. We'll learn about daily life then and pass by the Arab baths of Santa Maria.

We'll continue our walk in Calleja de las Flores and proceed to the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba to admire its exterior architecture, declared a World Heritage Site. After viewing its façade, we'll enter the Jewish quarter to learn about the Hebrew legacy of the city.

Lastly, we'll enjoy views of the Roman Bridge before ending our 2-hour tour of Cordoba in the Plaza del Triunfo.
