On this free tour of the three cultures of Cordoba, we'll discover the extraordinary Christian, Muslim, and Jewish religious and cultural heritage of the city.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the City Hall, located on Capitulares Street, to start this free tour through the 3 cultures of Cordoba.

In front of the City Hall, we'll see the church of San Pablo, built on the ancient Roman circus of Corduba. This city of Hispania, capital of the province of Baetica, housed large public spaces for both leisure and religion. We'll learn more about this time at the Roman temple of Cordoba.

Then, we'll go to the Santa Victoria square to discover the history of Christian Cordoba. Before this period, the city thrived during the time of al-Andalus. We'll learn about daily life at that time and pass by the Arab baths of Santa Maria.

We'll continue our walk in Calleja de las Flores (Street of Flowers), and from there we'll go to the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba to admire the exterior architecture of this World Heritage Site. After admiring its façade, we'll enter the Jewish quarter to learn about the Hebrew legacy of the city.

Lastly, we'll enjoy views of the Roman Bridge, before ending our 2-hour tour of Cordoba in the Plaza del Triunfo.

Large Groups

This free tour doesn't admit groups of more than 6 people. If you wish to know the city in an exclusive group with your partner, family, or friends, you can book a private tour of Cordoba.
