On this free tour of the three cultures of Cordoba, we'll discover the Christian, Muslim, and Jewish heritage of the city.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the City Hall, located on Capitulares Street, to start this free tour through the 3 cultures of Cordoba.

In front of the City Hall, we'll see the church of San Pablo, built on the ancient Roman circus of Corduba. This city of Hispania, capital of the province of Baetica, housed large public spaces for both leisure and religion. We will learn more about this time at the remains of the Roman temple of Cordoba.

Then, we'll go to the Santa Victoria square to discover the history of Christian Cordoba. Before this period, the city flourished during the time of al-Andalus. We will learn about daily life during that period and pass by the Arab baths of Santa Maria.

We'll continue our walk in the picturesque Calleja de las Flores (Street of Flowers), and from there we'll go to the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba to admire its architecture. After viewing its façade, we'll enter the Jewish quarter to learn about the Hebrew legacy of the city.

Lastly, we'll enjoy the views of the Roman Bridge, before concluding our 2-hour tour in the Plaza del Triunfo.
