Ring of Kerry Experience

Gather at 9 am at St. Patrick's Quay, we will embark from Cork towards unforgettable scenic views along the renowned Ring of Kerry, a circular route celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes.

As we head westward, we'll feel transported to the past at the Kerry Bog Village in Glenbeigh. This open-air museum preserves the historical rural lifestyle of the region. Enjoy a leisurely walk as we explore traditional cottages, quaint restaurants, and picturesque country houses, immersing ourselves in the area's heritage.

The adventure will continue as we gaze upon the remarkable Skellig Islands, known for their role in the acclaimed Star Wars films.

Continuing along the Ring of Kerry, we will visit the charming villages of Waterville and Coomakista. Each stop reveals fascinating stories; for instance, Waterville was a favored getaway for Charlie Chaplin. Arriving in the colorful village of Sneem, its vibrant houses will surely captivate you.

Afterward, we'll enjoy a well-deserved lunch break, allowing you an hour of free time to savor a meal in a local eatery. We highly recommend sampling the local fish dish, a true delicacy! Once revitalized, we'll proceed through the undulating hills and majestic mountains of Kerry County, pausing at sites like Moll's Gap and surveying MacGillycuddy's Reeks.

Our route brings us into the lush woodlands of Killarney National Park. Here, we'll encounter Lough Leane, the largest of the park's three lakes, before we arrive in the town of Killarney. You'll have the opportunity to explore this significant town along the Ring of Kerry at your own pace, and you may even wish to take a delightful horse-drawn carriage ride.

Concluding our journey, we will return to the original meeting point, arriving back around 6 pm.
