Ring of Kerry Tour
Meeting at 9 am at St. Patrick's Quay, we will depart from Cork to explore the Ring of Kerry, a renowned circular tourist route.
Our first stop will be Kerry Bog Village in Glenbeigh, an open-air museum depicting the historical rural lifestyle, featuring thatched cottages, traditional restaurants, and country houses.
We will continue to view the Skellig Islands, noted for their role in recent Star Wars movies.
Traveling the Ring of Kerry, we will visit Waterville and Coomakista. You will learn intriguing facts, such as Waterville being a favorite of Charlie Chaplin. The colorful houses of Sneem will also be a highlight.
Lunch will follow, allowing you one hour of free time for a restaurant meal, with local fish recommended. Post-lunch, we will traverse the scenic rolling hills and mountains of Kerry County, passing landmarks like Moll's Gap and MacGillycuddy's Reeks.
Next, we will enter Killarney National Park, where we will see Lough Leane, the largest lake in the park, before arriving in Killarney, where you will have free time to explore this key Ring of Kerry town and enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride.
The tour concludes with a return to the meeting point by approximately 6 pm.
