As the moonlight bathes the landscape, join us on a night tour of the Talampaya National Park, one of La Rioja's protected areas.

Description

We'll meet at the Talampaya Canyon Operation Center to start our moonlit adventure through this prominent natural reserve.

The night tour of the Talampaya National Park features views of colossal 170-meter (557 feet) cliffs, with reddish sandstone formations illuminated by moonlight, providing stunning photo opportunities.

This easy-going hike reaches elevations of up to 1300 meters (4,265 feet) as we traverse part of the breathtaking Talampaya Canyon. From this spectacular gorge, we'll observe the night sky, enjoying a clear view of stars in this remote area, free from artificial light.

During our hike, we'll explore the various nocturnal species inhabiting this arid ecosystem, showcasing the biodiversity that thrives in the national park.

After approximately 3 hours, we will conclude the night adventure and return to our original meeting point.
