Talampaya & Shimpa Canyon 4x4 Tour
On this 4x4 tour through the Talampaya and Shimpa canyons, we will explore the Talampaya National Park in the province of La Riojans. We will meet at the Talampaya concesionario Volterra ticket office and board a 4x4 vehicle to visit the park's main sites.
During the tour, we will visit Talampaya Canyon and Shimpa Canyon, navigating narrow gorges that measure no more than 22 feet (7 meters) wide with walls reaching heights of 262.5 feet (80 meters). The rock formations are notable highlights.
The tour includes five stops: the Petroglyphs, the Botanical Garden, the Cathedral, the Monk, and Shimpa Canyon. A guide will provide insights about each location. We will conclude the tour with a picnic lunch.
After four hours of exploration, we will return to the starting point and complete the tour.
