Discover the impressive Alerce Costero National Park on this day trip from Valdivia, where you can admire the majesty of the thousand-year-old alerce trees!
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Valdivia to start this excursion to the Alerce Costero National Park. We'll begin by boarding a boat to the town of Corral.
During the 30-minute trip, we will discuss the flora and fauna of Alerce Costero. The main focus is the alerce, a thousand-year-old tree that we will observe closely on the Renovales de Alerce trail. This tree is one of the longest-living trees in the world.
Our tour includes walking along 3 trails: 2 within the national park and a third at Chaihuín beach. At the beach, we will have a picnic featuring local products, biscuits, and nuts, while enjoying views of the Pacific.
After the break, we will return to the boat to head back to Corral. From there, we will drive to your hotel in Valdivia, concluding the day trip after approximately 9 to 11 hours.
