Cozumel is much more than just white beaches and reefs. Discover the island's history with this guided tour, where you'll also be able to try its local cuisine and famous tequila.

Cozumel Walking Tour

We'll meet at the Cozumel Military Air Base at the specified time. Accompanied by an expert guide in this Mexican city's history, we'll visit the most iconic places in Cozumel, Mexico's third biggest island.

Cozumel is renowned for its impressive diving spots. We will not be diving into the Caribbean sea, but rather admiring the locations that influenced the population's development. Our journey begins at the Plaza de las Dos Culturas and the Monumento al Mestizaje, the site of the Spanish arrival on the island.

Throughout the tour, the guide will share insights into the city's history and details regarding indigenous culture on the Yucatán peninsula. Learn about the history of tequila and its significance for the island. Participants will have the opportunity to taste this traditional drink.

After this stop, we will explore the Malecón de Cozumel pier featuring various sculptures and views. A prominent sculpture is the Monumento de Buzo, representing the island's underwater life.

Our next stop will be the Plaza Central to see City Hall and the Cozumel Clocktower. The tour concludes with an authentic Mexican lunch at La Choza restaurant.
