Visit ancient fortresses and monumental rock formations on this excursion to Ojców National Park, where you'll experience the Polish natural landscape and visit two castles.
Ojców National Park Excursion
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Krakow at 9 am and head north to visit the Ojców National Park. The minibus ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
During the excursion, we'll travel through the Ojców National Park, making different stops at points of interest. The park features extensive valleys and a diverse flora and fauna, home to over 130 species of birds, as well as stoats and beavers.
We'll visit the ruins of Ojców Castle, a Gothic fortress from the 14th century. You'll learn about its historical significance and enjoy views of the Pradnik River.
Next, we'll see the Cudgel of Hercules, a stone column nearly 25 metres high, along with the Krakow Gate, both symbols of the national park.
Our tour will continue to the Pieskowa Skala Castle, a Renaissance building on a limestone massif, where we will explore its gardens and the exhibition of the National Art Collection of Krakow.
We'll conclude the excursion with a visit to the Chapel on the Water, a small wooden parish church.
We'll drop you off back at your hotel at 3 pm.
