Ojców National Park Excursion
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kraków at the designated time and head north to visit the Ojców National Park. The minibus ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
During the excursion, we'll travel through the Ojców National Park, making stops at various points of interest to explore its charms. This landscape is home to over 130 species of birds, along with stoats and beavers.
We'll visit the ruins of Ojców Castle, a 14th-century Gothic fortress built by King Casimir III the Great. You will learn about its role in defense during the Middle Ages and enjoy views of the Pradnik River.
Next, we'll see the Cudgel of Hercules, a stone column nearly 25 meters high, alongside the Krakow Gate, both symbols of the national park.
We will then visit the Pieskowa Skala Castle, a Renaissance structure on a limestone massif, where we’ll explore its gardens and rooms, which house an exhibition of the National Art Collection of Krakow.
The excursion will conclude with a visit to the Chapel on the Water, a charming wooden parish church, before we drop you off at your hotel after a total of 6 hours.
