Płaszów Concentration Camp Guided Tour

On this guided tour of the P?aszów Concentration Camp, we'll explore the historical context that inspired scenes in Schindler's List, a site reflecting the horrors of the Holocaust and the actions of Commandant Amon Göth.

Tour Details

We will meet at the designated time next to the Apteka Pod Or?em museum at Heroes' Square. From this location, we will begin our tour of the P?aszów Concentration Camp's history.

Initially, we will visit the Ghetto Memorial and the Eagle Pharmacy, symbols of resistance during the Nazi occupation. Afterwards, we'll proceed to Lwowska Street to see the remnants of the wall separating the Jewish ghetto from the city.

Next, we’ll take a tram for two stops to the P?aszów Concentration Camp. We will walk along Jerozolimska Street to observe the camp’s railway station, warehouses, officers' clubhouse, and administrative offices. Additionally, we will visit the ruins of the Jewish pre-burial hall.

We will stop at the "Grey House", a known torture center, and also see the villa where Amon Göth resided. The tour will cover the former Jewish cemetery, the camp's roll-call square, the industrial site, and notable sites including H-Hill and C-Pit, home to the Torn Hearts monument.

The tour will conclude in the Kamie?skiego area, summarizing this significant chapter of history.

Transport Info

Transport from Kraków to P?aszów will be via tram, returning by public bus. The total ticket cost is approximately 4PLN.
