Tyniec Boat Journey
We will gather at 10 am at the Krakow port, where a boat awaits to transport you along the serene waters of the Vistula River towards Tyniec.
As you glide along the river, take in the stunning landscapes of the Polish countryside, showcasing some hidden gems just outside Krakow that deserve your attention. Highlights during the voyage include sights such as the residence of Pope John Paul II, St. Savior's Church, Przegorzal Castle, and the Convent of the Norbertine Sisters.
Upon reaching Tyniec, you will have an hour of free time to wander and discover the village at your own pace. A must-see is the renowned Benedictine Abbey of Tyniec, established in 1044 by King Casimir the Restorer. Its elevated position allows for breathtaking views of the Vistula River from its grounds.
The journey will conclude with your return to the boat, which will take you back to Krakow, arriving at approximately 2:30 pm at the initial meeting point.
