Zakopane Excursion + Treetop Walk Bachledka

On this excursion, we'll cross the border into Slovakia for a hiking tour through the Treetop Walk Bachledka and visit the Polish town of Zakopane.

Zakopane Excursion + Treetop Walk Bachledka

At 8 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Krakow and drive to Ždiar, which will take about two and a half hours.

Once there, we'll start a 40-minute hiking route to the Treetop Walk Bachledka. This wooden platform, approximately 60-80 feet (18-24 meters) high, offers a view of the Bachledka Valley from above the treetops.

As we walk along the catwalk, we will enjoy views of the Slovakian forests, Tatra Mountains, and Pieniny National Park. In winter, the landscape covered in snow provides a unique experience.

After the Treetop Walk, we can descend by slide or on foot, then return to the minibus. We will then cross back into Poland to visit Zakopane.

Zakopane is known as the winter capital of Poland, popular for skiing in the colder months. You will have two and a half hours of free time to explore.

Possible activities include a ride on a horse-drawn carriage, shopping for handicrafts on Krupowki street, sampling local cuisine, and seeing the wooden houses.

We will regroup after free time and finish the tour at 8 pm, dropping you off at your hotel.
