Zakopane Excursion + Treetop Walk Bachledka
At 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Krakow and drive to the village of Ždiar, a journey of about two and a half hours by minibus.
Once we arrive, we will embark on a 40-minute hiking route to the Treetop Walk Bachledka, a wooden platform approximately 60-80 feet (18-24 meters) high, offering a unique perspective of the Bachledka Valley from above the treetops.
As we walk along this elevated walkway, we’ll enjoy views of the Slovakian forests, the Tatra Mountains, and Pieniny National Park. In winter, the snow-covered landscape is particularly striking.
We’ll descend from the Treetop Walk Bachledka by slide or on foot, according to your preference, and return to the minibus. Following this, we will cross back into Poland and visit the city of Zakopane.
Zakopane, known as the winter capital of Poland, is popular for its skiing options during the colder months. You will have two and a half hours of free time to explore the town.
Activities include taking a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, shopping for handicrafts on Krupowki street, sampling local cuisine, and admiring the traditional wooden houses.
After your free time, we will regroup and complete the tour at 8 pm, when you will be dropped off at your hotel.
