Swim With Manatees

We'll meet at the designated location on Suncoast Boulevard and depart for an experience swimming with manatees, a recommended activity in Crystal River, Florida.

Initially, we will board a boat to navigate through the Indian River to Crystal River. Keep an eye out for dolphins, river otters, bald eagles, and other wildlife along the way.

Upon arrival at the swimming site, participants will don snorkel masks and enter the water to search for manatees. You'll have time to swim with these marine mammals in their natural habitat, learning about their diet of seagrass and their size, which can reach up to 4 meters (13 feet) and weigh up to 600 kilograms (1,322 pounds).

Manatees are known for their calm nature and interaction with humans. If time permits after swimming, we will visit Three Sisters Spring, a natural area known for its clear waters.

The total duration of the adventure is three hours, concluding back at the meeting point.
