Delve into the captivating town of Bernal and ascend one of the most remarkable monoliths in the world. Additionally, you will have the chance to visit the quaint village of Tequisquiapan, known for its traditional crafts.
Day Trip to Bernal and Tequisquiapan
We will gather at 7:40 am in Mexico City and board a minibus for our journey to Bernal. After two and a half hours on the road, we will arrive at the Peña de Bernal, celebrated as the third-largest monolith globally.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy some free time to explore the Peña de Bernal. You can either climb this majestic solidified lava formation or wander through the charming streets of Bernal and savor a delicious lunch.
Once we have finished our meal, we will continue our journey to Tequisquiapan, a locality renowned for its exquisite handicrafts. Stroll through the village streets where you'll encounter a variety of artworks crafted by local artisans, including items made from clay, ceramics, silver, opals, basketry, and textiles. You're bound to find a distinctive souvenir to cherish!
After our visit to Tequisquiapan, we will board the minibus again and make our way back to Mexico City, with an expected arrival of around 6 pm.
