Day Trip to San Miguel de Allende + Hot Springs

Fall in love with the colonial charm of San Miguel de Allende, a city in the state of Guanajuato, famous for its colorful streets and historic buildings.

San Miguel de Allende Day Trip

We'll meet at 5:30 am at Hotel Benidorm in Mexico City to begin our day trip to San Miguel de Allende. The journey by minibus will take around four hours.

Upon arrival, we'll visit the La Gruta thermal spa, where you can spend 5 hours enjoying the outdoor medicinal pools and the underground water of a cave at your leisure. The water temperature can reach up to 40 degrees Celsius.

After relaxing, we'll head to the center of San Miguel de Allende. This World Heritage City features a well-preserved historic center. We'll see the Church of St. Michael the Archangel with its neo-Gothic structure, the Casa del Mayorazgo de la Canal, and the façade of the Temple of San Francisco in several architectural styles.

Next, we'll visit the handicraft market, where you can find wool, quarry, papier-mâché, glass, ceramics, and stone items, perfect for souvenirs.

Before returning, you will have an hour of free time to explore San Miguel de Allende and have lunch at a local restaurant.

We will head back to Mexico City and are scheduled to arrive at the meeting point at 11 pm.
