Excursion to Cuernavaca & Tepoztlán

On this excursion from Mexico City, we'll travel to the state of Morelos to visit 2 important towns: the Cuernavaca Cathedral and the Magical Town of Tepoztlán.

Excursion to Cuernavaca & Tepoztlán

At 8 am, we will pick you up at your hotel Sheraton María Isabel and travel by minibus to Cuernavaca.

After an hour and a half drive, we will begin a guided tour of the Cuernavaca Cathedral, noted for its 16th-century colonial architecture and frescoes influenced by the Franciscan order.

Following the cathedral visit, we'll head to the Magical Town of Tepoztlán. This town, surrounded by mountains, offers charming streets and captivating legends. We will also explore the Tepozteco Archaeological Site, where it is said that Quetzalcoatl, the Aztec god, was born. Our visit includes the old Dominican Convent of the Nativity and a local market.

You will have 2 hours of free time to enjoy Mexican cuisine and further explore Tepoztlán.

We will reconvene to return to the starting point, arriving around 6 pm.
