On this sunrise hike up the Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl volcanoes, we'll enjoy two icons of Mexican volcanology and get the most amazing views.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Michoacán Market in Mexico City. There, we'll board a minibus to head towards the Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl volcanoes.
After a 2-hour drive, we'll arrive at the Iztaccihuatl - Popocatepetl National Park refuge, where we'll begin a hike. For about 2 hours, we'll hike through the volcanic terrain to Humboldt Peak.
At the top, we'll enjoy a snack including an energy drink, chocolate, peanuts, a snack bar, and fruit. Then, we'll witness a sunrise over the volcanoes.
With our strength restored, we'll begin the descent while continuing to enjoy the volcanic environment. Finally, we'll arrive at the meeting point in Mexico City 7.5 hours after the initial pickup.
