The tour meets at the main entrance to the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City at 1:20 pm. The first stop is the Jamaica Market, where participants will explore colorful stalls and various products. The market, inaugurated in the 50s, features kiosks with flowers, nuts, vegetables, and sweet treats, along with cooking utensils and souvenirs available for purchase.

Participants will enjoy a tasting of exotic fruits such as carambola, mamey, or chicozapote paired with cheese and mole. A tour guide will explain the preparation and consumption of these delicacies, providing a cultural immersion experience.

The tour will also cover the properties of healing plants and local alternative medicine practices, including the meanings of various flowers, some of which are edible.
