Tour Details
Pickup is at the indicated time at the Hostal Amigo in Mexico City, followed by travel south to Iztaccíhuatl-Popocatépetl National Park. A stop will be made along the way for food purchases.
Arrival is at The Jewel in the Paso de Cortés, where the conquistador Hernán Cortés first viewed the Mexican Valley en route to Tenochtitlán. The climb begins here, utilizing a route of intermediate difficulty suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers.

A highlight of the day is the chance to admire Popocatépetl, Mexico's second tallest volcano, with its unique smoky figures due to ongoing volcanic activity.
